Galena Triathlon Group Training Rides 2008

Dates: Saturday, April 12, 19 & 26

Time: 6:30am

Where: Meet at Nixon Beach, Apple Canyon Lake (Where Galena Triathlon bike coarse begins).

The Coarse: We'll ride the Triathlon bike coarse from Apple Canyon Lake to Fever River Outfitters, Galena.  Total distance is about 18 miles. If you would like to make arrangements to get a car ride with your bike from Fever River to the Lake prior to the ride, or a car ride back to your vehicle after the ride, call Deb at Fever River Outfitters and make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance.

Cost: The ride is free to the public.

Friday Evening Arrive  Galena Territory Condo

Saturday 7:00am – 7:30am Learn to love riding hills (shifting, pedaling techniques)

7:45am Bike ride from Condo on Galena Backroads 25 miles

10:30am –11:30am Supplements for Triathletes  (samples offered)

11:30am – 12:00am   Brick Workout Examples

Lunch

2:00pm – 2:30pm Tips for faster Transitioning

2:30pm – 3:00pm   Core Muscle group Abs exercises

3:30pm – 4:45pm   Long slow run on Galena Trail ( 3 to 5 miles)

5:00pm Optional Bike Ride or shuttle back to Condo (approximately 12 miles)

Dinner 

Sunday 7:00am ride from Eagle Ridge to Galena Rec Park 20 miles

8:00 Hill Repeats (# of repeats optional)

30 minute Body Massage (optional $)

Cost $269 person. Includes  2 nights stay at Galena Territory shared condo single Queen Bedroom,  and training seminar.
